Migrantes Valientes: Stories from the South and the North

Esta exposición es una colección de fotografias y narrativas de la publicación “Migrantes Valientes: Stories of the South and North”, una selección de 13 historias tanto de México como de los Estados Unidos, que hablan sobre la supervivencia y la promesa de un futuro mejor.

En colaboración con Pablo Allison y Alfonso Vázquez, fundador de Chicanxs sin Fronteras, esta publicación y exposición es resultado de casi dos años de conversaciones y planificación, que nos permiten reconocer los complejos vinculos históricos y culturales entre México y Estados Unidos desde el punto de vista de la migración.

“Migrantes Valientes” incluye contribuciones de Vanessa Bustamante, Jeoffrey Guillemard, Gabriella Gutiérrez y Muhs, Luis J. Rodriguez, Shente, Adam Wiseman y Magic.

Estas voces nos recuerdan que ningún ser humano es ilegal y que todos estamos en movimiento.

This exhibition is a collection of photographs and narratives from the publication “Migrantes Valientes: Stories of the South and North” - a collection of 13 stories of survival and the promise of a better future coming from both Mexico and the United States of America.

In collaboration between Pablo Allison and Alfonso Vazquez founder of Chicanxs sin Fronteras, this publication and exhibition is a display of just a little under two years of conversations and planning, reminding us of the complex historical and cultural ties between Mexico and The United States from the viewpoint of migration.
