Pablo Allison
Pablo Allison was born in Manchester, UK and grew up in MexicoCity. He is a multidisciplinary artist interested in exploring ideas such as control, reclusion, displacement, freedom, entrapment and migration among others through his practice.
AlfonsoVázquez
Alfonso is originally from Mexico City, founder of the Chicanxs sin Fronteras and director of the Encuentro de Cultura Chicana en la CDMX-Tenochtitlán. For more than 15 years he has dedicated his time to activities of accompaniment, advice, management and development of cultural and educational projects in different institutions and cultural spaces in Mexico.
Our Work
Migrantes Valientes is an independent publication founded by Mexican/British artist Pablo Allison.
It’s main purpose is to publish and share the experiences of people migrating around the world in order to find prosperity and peace.
The ethos of the newspaper is to work in collaboration with academics, artists, human rights activists, NGO’s, migrants, refugees etc. to broaden the understanding of migration and highlight all facets of this human phenomenon.
